Overview
Sterile Processing Tech, Certified (CBSPB or HSPA) in Greenbrae, California. Start date 07/27/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $1,059–$1,160 per week with guaranteed hours of 32 hours. Evening shift. Work in an acute care setting with trauma program responsibilities, supporting instrument processing and sterilization workflows.

Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and case cart preparation according to approved procedures.
- Receive, inspect, and organize instrument sets; ensure accurate labeling and traceability throughout the sterilization process.
- Operate decontamination and sterilization equipment, monitor cycles, and document results to maintain compliance with infection control standards.
- Prepare instrument trays and case carts for surgical or procedural use; communicate with operating teams to ensure timely availability.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas; follow safety protocols and PPE requirements; perform quality checks and report deviations.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal orientation, with flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.

Requirements
- Certification: CBSPB or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) required
- Experience: Prior sterile processing experience in a trauma center environment
- Setting capability: Ability to work effectively in an acute care/trauma-focused sterile processing setting
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime when needed and occasional weekends
- Additional: Strong decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart skills; ability to work with minimal supervision
