Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a travel assignment in Utica, New York. Specialty: LPN. Start date: 05/11/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,474–$1,535 per week. Guaranteed hours: 37.5 per week. Shift: Evenings, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM. Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents on a 40-bed unit, including populations such as MS, ortho, dementia, and memory care
- Administer medications, IV therapies as permitted, and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and respond to changes in condition
- Perform ongoing assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the supervising RN
- Document care in PointClick Care EMR; participate in care planning and interdisciplinary rounds
- Float to all units within the building as assigned; support other nursing staff to maintain appropriate resident care coverage
- Respond to call bells, assist with activities of daily living, and support resident safety and comfort

Requirements
- Current New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
- Experience with geriatric populations, including dementia/memory care and orthopedics, preferred
- Proficiency with PointClick Care EMR or willingness to learn
- Ability to float to all units within the building and work the specified evening shift
- Availability to commit to a 13-week assignment with 37.5 hours per week
