Job Description
Cannabis Post-Production Associate Position Overview: The Post-Production Associate supports the final stages of cannabis product preparation, ensuring finished goods are packaged, labeled, and ready for distribution in compliance with state regulations. This role focuses primarily on edible and topical products, including chocolates and bath bombs, and requires strong attention to detail and consistency.
Key Responsibilities: - Package finished cannabis products, including chocolates, bath bombs, and other infused goods, according to company standards
- Apply labels and stickers accurately and compliantly, ensuring all required information is present
- Assist with batching, counting, weighing, and sealing products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the post-production and packaging area
- Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and state cannabis regulations
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet appearance, weight, and labeling standards
- Track and report production counts as needed
- Support the production team with additional post-production tasks as assigned
Qualifications: - Prior experience in cannabis manufacturing, food production, packaging, or warehouse work preferred
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light repetitive hand work
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must meet all state requirements to work in a licensed cannabis facility
Work Environment: - Production and packaging setting
- Use of gloves, hair nets, and other PPE as required
- Fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
