Description
TEKsystems Client is seeking an experienced Oracle Fixed Assets (FA) Consultant to support a critical phase of its Oracle transformation. This is a confidential engagement designed to augment the current team with deep functional expertise in Oracle Financials, specifically the Fixed Assets module.
The organization is preparing for a January 2027 go-live and requires a subject matter expert (SME) to bridge a current knowledge gap between internal finance resources and the implementation partner. This individual will play a key role in ensuring successful design validation, testing, and business process alignment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the SME for Oracle Fixed Assets (FA) within the broader Oracle Financials implementation
- Partner closely with: Internal Finance FTE / Oracle implementation partner / Finance workstream lead / IT Project Manager (Finance)
- Lead and support design and refinement of business processes related to Fixed Assets
- Drive functional testing efforts, including: Test planning and execution / User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support / Identifying and resolving gaps or defects
- Provide hands-on functional guidance to internal stakeholders with limited Oracle/FA experience
- Support change management efforts, including transitioning from manual processes to automated workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including a Six Sigma Black Belt consultant, to improve and standardize processes
- Ensure readiness for go-live through thorough validation and knowledge transfer

QUALIFICATIONS:
-5–7+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with strong emphasis on Fixed Assets module
-Proven track record supporting Oracle implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements
-Strong understanding of Fixed Assets lifecycle (capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, reporting)
-Experience with business process design and optimization
-Hands-on experience with testing cycles (SIT, UAT) in an ERP implementation
-Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
-Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for finance stakeholders
-Experience working alongside implementation partners and internal IT/PMO teams

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85.00 - $95.00/hr.
