Villa Maria Academy Lower School (an all-girls Catholic academy) is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Middle School Social Studies Teacher to inspire students in grades 6-8 through engaging instruction, inquiry-based learning, and historical analysis. The successful candidate will guide students in developing historical thinking skills while fostering an appreciation for diverse cultures, historical events, and the connections between the past and present. Students will learn through an online textbook, primary and secondary source documents, collaborative activities, research projects, discussions, and other instructional resources designed to promote critical thinking and active engagement.
