Molding Machine Operator

Location: Hazelhurst, Ga. 

Pay: $11.00

Day Shift

• Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM 
• Friday: 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM 

Night Shift

• Monday–Thursday: 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM 
• Friday: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Job Summary:

SelecSource is seeking reliable and detail-oriented  Molding Machine Operators to safely operate machinery used in producing molded EVA shoes. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to quality and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate molding machinery according to specifications
• Inspect equipment prior to use; ensure proper setup and alignment
• Perform basic adjustments and routine maintenance
• Ensure molds are clean before production
• Apply silicone spray and distribute evenly using air spray
• Close molds for injection and monitor curing process
• Remove finished shoes from molds after curing
• Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Place approved products on conveyor line for next process
• Remove excess material (“spider”) from molds
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and operate production equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Lift, push, pull, and carry materials as needed
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
