We’re hiring a Lifeguard to join our team at Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club, located right on Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara. Compensation: $20.00/hour | Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible) 

What You’ll Do 

• Ensure the safety of Members and Guests by actively monitoring all aquatic areas.
• Enforce pool rules and respond quickly to emergencies with proper procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning pool environment.
• Perform daily opening/closing duties and routine pool maintenance.
• Deliver high-quality customer service with a professional and friendly approach.
• Assist with aquatic programs, lessons, and club events.
• Monitor pool chemicals, supplies, and equipment functionality.
• Accurately complete logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Uphold all Club standards, policies, and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk and sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
• Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including sun, heat, and water exposure.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift.
• The Club complies with all California meal and rest break requirements.
