Overview

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Investment Analyst I is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the organization's investment portfolios, including cash equivalents, equities, fixed income, real assets, and alternative investments. This role serves as a key liaison between internal departments and external advisors, such as the Outsourced Chief Investment Officer and board subcommittees. Essential functions are to ensure compliance with internal policies, financial reporting accuracy, monitoring of external advisors, and serve as internal subject matter expert on investments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all policies regulatory requirements

• Assist and support accounting teams to ensure accurate recording of investment transactions and balances

• Collaborate with external advisors through maintaining advisor relationships and understanding of economic trends.

• Utilize financial data management and visualization tools to support investment oversight and reporting

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Accounting or Finance and No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training Accounting or Investment experience or

• Bachelor's Degree Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years experience Accounting or Investment experience or

• Associate's Degree Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years experience Accounting or Investment experience

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children's Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
