Job Description

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for the position of Ground Maintenance located in La Feria Texas 78559with $11.00/hour pay for a 4-month contract temp to hire opportunity. You will be responsible for the general upkeep and appearance of park grounds and surrounding areas. This role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and supporting full-time staff with daily maintenance activities. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical labor and operating lawn maintenance equipment. Must have active and valid Driver’s License (DL) and pass MVR.

Schedule:  Full-time, 40 hours per week – flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends if needed  

Dress Code:  Appropriate work clothing and sturdy, closed-toe boots suitable for physical labor and outdoor tasks  

About the Role:

This role involves performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment, including handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining organized work areas. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow safety protocols while supporting daily operations.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely and efficiently throughout the workspace  
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage of items  
• Organize inventory, maintain clean and hazard-free work areas, and assist with stock management  
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other machinery to transport materials  
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet productivity goals  
• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe and productive environment  

Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse operations, general labor, or physically demanding roles
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
• Must have active and valid Driver’s License (DL). 
• Familiarity with equipment operation, material handling, and inventory organization
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures
