Job Summary (DevOps Engineer)
- Role: DevOps Engineer (Contract-to-Hire, 6+ Months)
- Location: Hybrid preferred in Phoenix, AZ (West Coast time zone preferred, but not required)
- Interview: 2 rounds
- Visa: No sponsorship provided
- LinkedIn: Required for submission
Primary Responsibilities:
- Scale and stabilize deployment pipelines, with a focus on reducing single points of failure (especially around Terraform).
- Own and enhance CI/CD pipeline scalability and reliability.
- Support infrastructure management and automation using Infrastructure as Code (primarily Terraform/Terraform Cloud).
- Collaborate with development teams to maintain and improve cloud-based solutions.
Key Technologies:
- Terraform + Terraform Cloud (highest priority)
- AWS (with emphasis on AWS Lambda)
- API Gateway
- GitHub & GitHub Actions
- Docker
- CI/CD pipeline tools
Required Skills:
- 3+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud, or similar)
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Bash, and YAML
- Experience with Python or Node.js
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Nice to Have:
- Serverless frameworks and AWS Lambda expertise
- Experience with API Gateway, IAM, CloudFront
- Experience supporting high-availability or mission-critical systems
