Location: Community Hospital Grand Junction, Colorado Hours; Monday Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM; Friday: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM;No nights or weekends Position Summary: Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment in our Women s Health Clinic. This role is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and supporting clinical and administrative functions related to women s care in a patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures in accordance with provider orders and clinical standards Ensure all equipment is powered on, calibrated, and fully operational prior to patient procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, including: Cleaning and disinfecting all equipment after each use (scanner, exam table, counters, consoles, workstations, etc.) Stocking exam rooms with necessary supplies Communicate ultrasound results to referring providers as directed Manage timely follow-up for STAT results, call reports, and patients awaiting results Accurately transfer images, patient information, and exam documentation to Virtual Radiology for after-hours cases Support clinic workflow and provide excellent patient care and service Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of related ultrasound experience preferred Certifications & Licensure Registered with ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in one or more of the following: General OB/GYN Vascular Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Why Join Us?
